    Question 2 Questions

    Dear all;

    1.What does "threats of sanction " mean?

    2. What's the best American handy english dictionary for students in upperintermediate level?(not sure my Q is correct or not)

    1- It means that economic restirctions may be put in place,
    2- It depends on how muchionaries, they want to spend, but Merriam Webster may be a good place to start. For online dictionaries, try www.onelook.com and www.dictionary.com. You can access many online dictionaries here.
