Default why are the followings correct or incorrect grammatically ?

    Hello, teachers !

    1. Finally the bows of the Philadelphia Orchestra went in all different directions at once, which were one of the components of the incredibly rich "Philadelphia Sound."

    2. If you're drawing the bow up and the person next to you draws the bow down, you're likely to bump into one another.

I would like to know why the aboves are correct or incorrect in grammar.

    Always thanks !

This is wrong because "all different directions" were not "one of the components". If 'were' were changed to 'was', the which-clause could refer to the whole preceding sentence.

    2. If you're drawing the bow up and the person next to you draws the bow down, you're likely to bump into one another.
    This looks correct to me.
