What is the proper way to express when you are physically as well as emotionally searching the limits of what your capable of? Do you search the boundaries / limits of your abilities? Do you search for the limits of yourself?
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

A quote that will be used in hundreds of graduation commencement ceremonies at this time of year:

“To dream anything that you want to dream. That's the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do. That is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself to test your limits. That is the courage to succeed.” Bernard Edmonds

You'd be testing the limits of your endurance.

If you exceed that, then you would be emotionally drained, operating on fumes, and at the end of your tether.

In the corporate world, when something is beyond these limits people 'it's above his/her pay-grade': 'I'm not going to make that decision - it's way above my pay-grade'.
