    Default Joining of sentences

It is a public holiday tomorrow. I need not go to work.

If the above sentences are joined, can I say?

It being a public holiday tomorrow, I need not go to work.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, I think it si right.
    Other variations could be:

Tomorrow being a public holiday, I will/ need not go to work.

Since it is a public holiday tomorrow, I will/ need not go to work.

Tomorrow is a public holiday, so I will/ need not go to work.

Tomorrow being a public holiday, I am not going to work.

Owing to a public holiday tomorrow, I will / need not go to work.

Tomorrow I am not going/ shall not go to work because/ since it is a public holiday.

    and many more...
