    can't

    Dear teachers...

Is there any difference in pronunciation between can't and cunt (in the UK, for example)?

    Thanks

Yes there is. "Can't" has a longer /a/ sound, as in park, cart (without an /r/). "Cunt" has a very short sound as in cup, but. These words are well distinguished in all forms of English I know, for obvious reasons.
