Everything goes 'well'. The rule you learned is not good if you want to learn English well. Occasionally, 'good' is used for 'well', so expect to see it, but 'well is the adverb'.
A: How are you? B: Good thanks.
A: How are things? B: Good.
A: Is everything good? B: Yes.
A: Is everything going good? X
A: I hope you've been good. X (Unless you mean that literally)
