    Default intonation pattern of complex sentence

    What is the pattern of intonation of complex sentence

    for example, a complex sentence with which defining clause

    how about word stress in ' get paid, get punished, etc'

    is it on the word 'get' or the second word ( paid, punished, etc )

    The stress in those phrases is on the SECOND word.

    I get paid every two weeks.

    It would sound very strange to say, "I get paid every two weeks".
