    Default again can't

My English teacher used to correct me all the time I said can't as kę̱nt, she says kɑːnt is the right choice, as we're learning GB Eng. I wonder if the English pronounce it that way?

Some American accents use /kę̱nt/. English people and most others would say /ka:nt/ (or /kɑːnt/, if you like).

These are all American. The vowel is the same in 'can' and 'can't' in American. /kę̱n/ /kę̱nt/
Elsewhere, it's /kę̱n/, /ka:nt/ as in carnt (without pronouncing the r).
