The King's, or Queen's, English is a very formal form of the language, often regarded as better than conventional or colloquial language. Nowadays, very few other than the queen use it. She has some rather strange sounds, like 'hice' for 'house', which almost no one uses now.

But I really love to listen to that kind of English, because I think it is beautiful and pure English. Agree?

There is a dialect of English called "R.P. English." The R.P. stands for Received Pronunciation which is presumably the only form of the language that can be received in the King's court.

RP doesn't sound weird, but the language used by the queen is very stylised. Use RP by all means.

Tdol - not to offend some of our British subjects - "she has some rather strange sounds?
