Give someone the eye - look or stare at someone with interest.

Married two weeks and got the eye - meaning instead of being faithful to each other, they tend to look around at other men or women.

Eye is an important sensory organ of the body. One can produce several types expressions through eye movement. Give somebody the eye is an universal practice of looking at someone in a way that communicates romantic interest. You can also give someone the evil eye or glad eye.
