    Hello everyone!please explain what "skin on" means in the following:
    ...As people in the Saint Francis Order live it they present the world with Franciscanism withh "skin on".

    Dear viettrang
    I met somewhere the epithet "God with skin on" and I thought it could means -"finding god's love in human relation". It might have something common with "the world with fraciscanism "skin on".
    I am curious about the origin of that epithet.
