I
made this cake myself.
I made this cake by myself.

We organized the party all ourselves.
We organized the party all by ourselves.

Come in, children, and find for yourselves a seat.
Come in, children, and find yourselves a seat.

I made this cake myself.
I made this cake [STRIKE]by[/STRIKE] myself.

We organized the party all ourselves.
We organized the party all [STRIKE]by[/STRIKE] ourselves.

Come in, children, and find for yourselves a seat.
Come in, children, and find yourselves a seat.

You are writing in Active Voice, therefore, you do not use "by" when it comes to the agent.

The last sentences is okay, as it means that they find a seat for each child.

I made this cake myself -- I did it; I didn't buy it at a bakery.

I made this cake by myself -- I made it and no one helped me.

We organized the party all ourselves. -- I don't find particularly natural. I would omit the "all." If you wrote "We organized the party ourselves" it would mean to me that you did it -- you didn't hire an organizer, for example.

We organized the party all by ourselves. -- No one helped us at all.

Come in, children, and find for yourselves a seat. -- I would not use this, unless (maybe!) I wanted to say that they needed to do it without assistance or wanted to emphasize that no adult would tell them where they had to sit.
Come in, children, and find yourselves a seat. -- Sounds fine. You can even omit "yourselves."

By the way, these aren't "true" or "false." This is a common mistake with English learners. True has to do with facts. You are asking about grammar.

If I say "I am 26 years old," it's grammatically correct, but not factually true.
If I say "I have 44 year," it's factually true, but not grammatically correct.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

Hello, Atchan.

(1) This is how I understand the "rules":

(a) "I MYSELF made this cake." = You want to emphasize the word

"I." It is something like: It was I who made this cake! You are very

proud.

(b) "I made this cake BY MYSELF." = You made this cake without

help from anyone else. You made it all alone.

(i) Native speakers often speak fast, so they many times do not use

the "by."

(ii) I think that it is a good idea for learners to use the "by."

***** Thank you *****
