    Hi:

Do anyone know the meanings of "linthead", "Motherogod" and "on the house"?

    Thanks in advance.

lintehead ( or lintbrain) - slang for someone stupid. The phrase originates from a SE part of the US (60's) for people working in cotton plants. These people were usually looked down upon as being the lower class people.

Mother'ogod" - Mother-of-God", an exclamation, same as Mother of Jesus! Jesus Christ!, etc.

on the house - it's a phrase that means that someone else picks up the tab, you get something for free ( ex. a drink at the restuarant for example)
