I am trying to identify why I have always had a difficult time pronouncing some words correctly. I took an undergraduate communication course where the instructor stated there is a label for people that constantly miss pronounce words. Are you able to provide me with that label? How can I get some help?

Thank you.

Depending on your case, it can be one of the followings.

1. Tip of tongue phenomenon
2. Malapropism
3. Spoonerism

'Dysarthria' is the term a speech pathologist or scientist would use.
A speech pathologist/therapist is the correct person to consult.
(It's similar word to dyslexia, discalculia, etc.)
