Default A deaf man is not afraid of guns

Is there any English idiom or saying that describes the idea that a deaf man is not afraid of guns because he cannot hear anything?

    Thanks for your answer!

In Vietnamese the saying has a negative meaning and is used to show disapproval.

Is there any other equivalent in English?
