    Default Proofread short but quite a few sentences (1/2)

    Any suggestions or corrections are most welcome. Also, please try not to change the too much as they are translated from a different language.

    (1) It's okay. If you follow as described in the manual, it’ll work.
    (2) The soccer match yesterday went as expected, country A won.
    (3) Just like the weather forecast predicted, it began to rain in the afternoon.
    (4) On my physician's orders I decided to exercise every day.

    (5) “I heard your daughter got married.”
    “That’s right, last month.
    “In that case, congratulations.”
    (6) It seems that G-bank’s management took a turn for the worse. Would all the money they were entrusted with be safe?
    (7) I heard he’s extremely wealthy. It must be nice to be him.

    (8) The economy of this country is far from getting better, it goes from bad to worse.
    (9) Instead of being kind, he's wife is the devil in disguise.
    (10) “She still looks fairly young.”
    “Despite her looks, she already has three grandchildren.”

    (11) I'm so busy I don't even have time to watch TV, much less go on a trip.
    (12) If his grades are as bad as this it's uncertain if he graduates, let alone find work.
    (13) Not only does she have a class A driver’s license, she's also holds a license to fly an airplane.
    (14) I'd be more than happy if I got three days off for this summer but instead of three days, I got a whole week.

    (15) The economy of this country is steadily getting worse, there's no way it'll improve.
    (16) His wife is anything but nice, she's the devil in disguise.
    (17) Because I'm too busy to watch even TV, traveling is out of the question.
    (18) Because it's uncertain whether he graduates or not, it's too early to go job hunting.

    (19) While I was soundly asleep, I shook awake due to an earthquake.
    (20) Just when I was about to call her, she called me.
    (21) When the thief left the store, he was captured by the police.
    (22) Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule.
    (23) Thank you very much for coming on today’s holiday.

    (24) If you were born again, would you want to be male or female?
    (25) Supposing we go to a hot spring, where should be go?
    (26) What would you do if you were in my place?
    (27) If we don't pull out of this recession, a bleak future lies ahead for Japan.

    (28) Winning a Nobel prize is the most prestigious achievement for a scholar.
    (29) I can go out with her as a friend, but our relationship won’t develop any further than that.
    (30) He has a nice personality, but he has some faults as a leader.
    (31) Kyoto is known as the former capital of Japan.

    (32) Even if I could marry her, it be no sooner than two or three years.
    (33) Even if that person looks kind, whether he really is remains to be seen.
    (34) The parents may be famous but if they didn’t had the skills, society wouldn't recognize them.
    (35) Even if they are your subordinates, you should properly express your gratitude when you're indebted.
    (36) I overslept, so even if I ran to school I wouldn't get there in time.
    (37) Even if I try my best, I'll lose for sure.
