    recover or restore

    WHich one is correct?

    Gold mining business will be resotred as it used to be.
    Gold mining business will recover as it used to be.

    I would say that we normally describe a business as "recovering". However, it needs to be followed by "to", not "as".

    The gold mining business will recover to how it used to be.

    However, "to recover" does generally mean to improve and get back to the original situation, so it's possible to just say "The gold mining business will recover".
