    Default Ants-in-the-pants weight loss plan

Leave the remote on top of the TV so you have to get up to change the chanel.
I'm on the top of the world looking,
Down on creation and the only explanation I can find,
Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around,
Your love's put me at the top of the world.

    on top of TV
    on the top of TV
put me at the top of the world
put me on the top of the world
    Does that make any difference?

If you say: something puts you at/on the top of the world, it means it makes you really happy.
In the Carpenters song, she feels she physically stands on top of the world looking down on the whole world. You stand on something. No happy connotation here. That's the only difference.

    on top/on the top

Both sound OK to me but for the sake of the rhythm I would go with on the top.

Thanks, wonderful Marylin. You've just made my day.

    I'm in heaven.
