    Question Help: "THREAD"

I know this would be a very silly question, but I want to know for sure.

Whether the word "THREAD" means "TOPIC", "POSTER" here in the forum?
I am not so quite sure about this and would be nice if you could have the patience to answer me.

    Thx

A "thread" in this context simply means a "discussion".

What you started is a 'thread'- you posted the first item and any further posts, such as these answers, all add up to a thread.
