    Add-a-Boy or attaboy

    there is a phrase I am not sure how to spell, but it means Bravo! excellent!
    and it must be something like Add-a-Boy or attaboy.
    well Could you please let me know the correct spelling and the root for that.

    Hello Shahriar,

    I think you mean "attaboy". It has the same meaning like "good boy"

    Dany is right. It's a short version (slang) for "that's the boy!". It's used when we want to commend someone for doing a great job, when we are proud of the person or want to give him/her ecouragement!
