This is available now in the UK, free for seven days:BBC - BBC Radio 4 Programmes - Fry's English Delight - fun and interesting. I'm not sure what iPlayer (the BBC's free repeat service) does in other parts of the world. Stephen Fry's agent presumably has the rights sewn up pretty tightly - the previous two series are available as (commercially available) downloads and audio-books (so, no chance of a freebie!)

I can get it in Japan- am listening now. We can't get TV outside the UK.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Ghastly title ;-)

Why is the title ghastly?

It's a not very inventive pun; there used to be a sweet called Fry's Turkish Delight ('Turkish Delight' is still available, but not - I think - that particular chocolate-covered version). It's irrelevant, and not very amusing; but I wouldn't call it ghastly.

According to his memoirs/autobiography, Stphen Fry was hopelessly addicted to sweets as a child so it's kind of an "insider" joke.
