    We have had problems with home-made solutions and add-ons breaking when the software upfdates.

    Yeah, I think the standard vBulletin features are probably enough.

    By the way, thank you Tullia for your excellent diagrams!
    I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.

    Just don't mention VB4 and we'll be fine. VB4 breaks if someone so much as breathes on it >.<
