Hello, someone could help me, please? I can't make clear of which cases to use the words; "providing" and "provided". Thanks in advance.

    Re: providing or provided

    It is simple!

It depends on what tense you are using\referring to.

    Provide: present tense
Ex - Please provide the book to everybody
    Provided: past tense
Ex - He provided the book to all of us. (action that is over\completed)
    Providing: Continuous tense
Ex - He is providing the book to every body. (action happening currently)

    Re: providing or provided

I have a feeling that the OP was referring to:

Provided you hand your homework in on time, you'll get top marks.

Providing you hand your homework in on time, you'll get top marks.

    Am I right?
