    deliver vs. shipment

    Hello everyone!
Would you be so kind as to explain the difference in the use of words "delivery" and "shipment" in the contractual context. Any differences regarding the U.S. and British practice?

    Re: deliver vs. shipment

    A learner

Shipment is a large amount of goods that is sent together and carried by a shipping agent.

Delivery is taking a few peaces of goods or a letter to somebody's home place.

    Re: delivery vs. shipment

Why sometimes "delivery" is used; and in other cases, "shipping"? Are they absolute synonyms? Or maybe there is a diference?
