Default something partly invloved in doing something

    Dear teachers,

I was writing an e-mail about my recent change of occupation to my good friend in Australia.
I have a few years of work experience in a few different fields of occupation, such as tutor, sales manager.
In the e-mail, I was writing this:

    Dear Jan,
    ...
Teaching kids is not as easy as you think of, because my work experience had partly invloved in teaching kids....

I am not sure if it is grammartically correct to write
"my work experience had partly invloved in doing something"
or shall I change it to
"my previous job had some invlovement in doing something"

    Please help teachers.

Teaching kids is not as easy as you think. My work experience partly involved teaching kids....
