I don't understand what the phrase " on the native way" in the following sentence means.
"Film of all kinds are the favourite programs of many viewers, young and old alike. However, television affects us on the native way, too. we have seen a lot of movies about violence on T.V every day."
Please give me some spare time to explain these sentences. They are too difficult for me to understand.
