1-- 'whose armour is his honest thought': honest thought, like armour, protects our independence.
2-- 'and having nothing,yet hath all': the most valuable possessions are already within us; we have all we need for a fruitful life, without acquiring outward possessions.
3-- 'serveth': the '-eth' ending is the old third person singular, for which we now use '-s'. 'He that serveth' means 'he that serves'.
