Dear teachers,

We had a tour to a village in Hokkaido, when my friends saw a beautiful scenary, they praised "what a beautiful scenary !"
We had waited for a very long time for the tour,
and we didn't mind waiting for another few minutes to have our passports checked, shall we say:

1. what is a few minutes!

or

2. what a few minutes!

Dear teachers,

We took a tour to a village in Hokkaido.
When my friends saw the beautiful scenery, they said,
"Wow, what beautiful scenery!" or "Wow, this place is so beautiful!"
Even though we had waited for a very long time,
we didn't mind waiting for another few minutes to have our passports checked.

Should we say:

1. what is a few minutes!

or

2. what a few minutes!

Use the first one, but as follows:

"What is a few minutes?"

Also note the corrections and suggestions on the whole quotation.
