    sms vs text something

How would you say "sms me our meeting point" or "text me our meeting point"?

    Re: sms vs text something

    Not a teacher -

I've been living in England for some time and we used "text me ~".
AFAIK "to sms" is not even a verb (it's shorter to say "text" than "sms"), but I might be wrong on that (well, English changes quickly).

    Re: sms vs text something

I had a European colleague (non-native English) text me and asked me to "sms" him something.

I am used to just saying "text."
