    Default request

Can you please advise if the sentence is correct:

I have been waiting for the request from you as usually, but did not get any.

    The context is:
Every half a year a person sends me a letter, where he asks to advise the quality of books I need. But this time he did not ask me.

    Thanks

I have been waiting for your usual request, but it has not come.

Do you mean the "quality" (how good?) or the "quantity" (how many?)?
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
