    Default Regarding usage of - -

    Because we defined the problem who is the nice man we can see? and that is what we should have done.

    Am I allowed to put a phrase between - -, ending with a question mark, and go on without capital letter?

    Written that way, it's very difficult to understand. It would be better like this:
    Because we defined the problem," who is the nice man we can see?", and that is what we should have done.
    I presume that this is preceded by something that explains it.

    Thanks. For some reason my Word annoys when I use " " and a comma after, as "like?",

    Any problem with that or not?
