What is the best way to get rid of repeating nouns for both singular and plural cases, keeping the sentence grammatically correct?

You may sometimes replace the very noun(s) by 'one(s)'. It could likely work for the first sentence while it doesn't work fine for the second. I think there's other ways in some different situations though.
