    Hi teacher,

    I have sentences which I am not sure if it is correct to write so.

    "He is older than his age."
    "He is older than his appearance."

    It's not possible to be older than one's age. You could say:
    "He is older than he appears to be."
    "He looks younger than he is."
    These are examples, there are other possible ways of saying the same thing.

    Can i write:

    "He looks younger in appearance."

    or

    "He looks younger than his age."

    Yes you could, but in the first one "appearance" is redundant, simply "He looks younger" says the same thing.
