    Please help: pear down

    Dear Teacher,

Would you please tell me the meaning of "pear down" ?
It is used in a sentence as "he did pear it down, we did pear it down some.", and the person was talking about a character talks the less, the better .
To me, it might mean "delete" or "cut", but I'm not sure...

Thank you very much for your help!!

The word should be pare down. Look this up in a dictionary and the utterance will make sense. It means to trim or cut back.

    Dear mykwyner-san,

Thank you very much for your help!!

Yes, it does make sense. I didn't even realize it was just a misspelling...

Thank you again, and have a nice day.
