Default put somethig on speaker or on the speaker

"Put it on speaker. I want to know what she is going to say about this."

Is it "on speaker" or "on the speaker"?

Do we say he's been on stage for a while or he's been on the stage for a while?

Well, "on stage" means he's working, acting, whereas "on the stage" means he's at a particular location in the theater.
