    Sentences- Nov 15

    Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

    1. I didn't undestand what exactly you meant by "rational resolution" earlier in the meeting.

    2. Just wanted to know what are the qualities you look for before deciding on whether a candidate is suitable for this position.

    3. Just wanted to get some feedback on some ideas I have been mulling over for a while and thought you might be a right person for that.

    Thanks,

    MG.

    1. I didn't understand * what exactly you meant * by "rational resolution" earlier in the meeting.

This is fine. You could also move 'exactly' to where I have inserted the *.

    2. Just wanted to know what are the qualities you look for before deciding on whether a candidate is suitable for this position.

Fine. Technically you could move 'are' to the end, but this would sound a little clumsy.

    3. Just wanted to get some feedback on some ideas I have been mulling over for a while and thought you might be a the right person for that.

    Fine.
