    gambling

John was driving the car he had won gambling.

Should I put a "from" before gambling?
Should I use "gamble" or "gambling" in the sentence?

    thanks

    Re: gambling

It's perfectly fine the way it is:

John was driving the car he had won gambling.

A Casiopea says, it is fine as it is. The words "while", "when" or "from" have been omitted/ellipted before "gambling".
