    is the sentence "I haven't held nor bought a comb for almost a decade" correct?

    "I haven't held nor bought a comb for almost a decade"

    is a bit tricky. But you should use or instead of nor if you want to keep the same structure in your example. Generally, we don't use nor without using neither in sentences like this one.

    "I have neither held nor bought a comb for almost a decade," would be the correct use of nor in your sentence.
