    Question Meaning of "inverted pyramid"

    Hello.I am Thein Lin Aung.I am from Myanmar.I read in an article "newspapers describe news in inverted pyramid".I don't know the meaning of "inverted pyramid" as I cannot find that word in my dictionary.

    In journalistic style, you put the most important information first: Who did what, where, and when. How and why are also answered early. As the news story continues, it has more details but they are of less importance.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
