    Default be clear--for jail visitation

    Hi there

I don't know what does "you'll be clear"mean in the following context, could anyone help me? Thank you.

Emma went to the jail to see her son, who just came in last night.
But the officer in the jail told her, "You are not approved yet."
    Emma asked "For what?",
the officer said "VIsitation, You'll probably be clear by Saturday--that's when visiting hours are, anyway."

    Thank you in advance.

Most prisons in the U.S. have a specific procedure that must be followed for an inmate to receive visitors. The inmate must submit a list of names of "approved" visitors. Those people on his list then must fill out an application. Their application will be reviewed (for example, they will have to pass a criminal background check) and then will either be approved ("cleared") or denied by the prison authorities.
