    Default I need explanation

    Help,
In the Christmas song "Mistletoe and wine" there is such a sentence :
"hours for the taking, just follow the master". Could someone explain the sentense to me? What's the "taking"? taking what?

Almost certainly Jesus. The song was a hit for Cliff Richard, who frequently spoke in public of his Christian beliefs. The song was not written for him but "Richard liked the song but wanted to change the lyrics to reflect a more religious theme, to which the writers agreed." Gilnetter is right about 'ours', Ania, but you may have found it on the internet as 'hours'.
