    How to put it simpler

    How do you say rationally;

    To prevent people from getting a false idea or misconception of something, as in

    ' My mother wrote to the backside of the snaphot that I was suffering from german measles to prevent people from misunderstanding that i was drunk.'

    On the back of the snapshot my mother explained that I was suffering from German measles so people wouldn't mistake me for a drunk.
