    Default creat a glorious future

I think the phrase "creat a glorious future" is Chinglish.
Could I make the following correction:
I'm sure I'll work hard at school to have a glorious future and to repay your kindness.

"Glorious" is maybe a bit much. How about "successful"?

    Prepare for a successful future!
Work hard in school and prepare yourself for a successful future!
