    Default putting your flag

Please make the following in bold clear for me.

    1. This potential reality is one possible version of Reality but it is not Reality itself. There are an infinite number of possibilities for what Reality might be. When you choose your state of Being, you are selecting one potential possibility from this infinite list. In a sense, you are putting your flag in the ground and taking a stand that this is the way it is (for you).

Would you please paraphrase the above in bold more easily?

    2. Group 3 was also asked to write action commitments for each goal.

Does the above mean "action plans"?

    Thank you for your time.

1 The image is of someone thrusting a flag-pole into the ground and saying 'I'll defend this position till I die'. In this metaphorical usage, there's no actual flag.

2 They doin't have to be as detailed as a plan (although a plan may often be taken as a commitment). An 'action commitment' is just saying 'I will do X'.
