    Default got drunk

    I heard someone saying his friend got drunk sounded like " she knocked down". If I am wrong, please correct me.

    There are thousands of colloquial expressions for being drunk. I've never heard this one.

    "Knock-down drunk" is one of many AmE expressions to describe someone who has consumed an extreme amount of liquor. Their head is spinning like a boxer who has been punched in the face and knocked down to the mat.
