    took each man's hand

    Hi

There was one girl and two men standing close to each other.

She reached out and took each man's hand in one of hers.

---I take it to mean she grabbed the hand of one guy with, for example, her left hand, and the hand of the other guy with her right hand, is that right?

    That's right.
I'd assume that she took one man's left hand in her right, and the other's right in her left.
