    Order

Let's say A orders a product from B and B sends it to him. What word best describes what B did with the order? He fulfilled, performed, executed the order? Is there a more fitting word?

    Thanks!

    Re: Order

    Hi,

Fulfill is the best and off the top of my head I can't actually think of a better one.

    Re: Order

I ordered a book from Amazon. Amazon completed my order. Amazon sent me the book.

Yes, but I am looking for a more general term. (One can also process an order.) "Fulfill" will have to do.

    Re: Order

    Hi,

As I said, 'fulfill' is the best and arguably the only one in this context. Why are you looking for a general term for the clear cut series of actions you described?

Because I'm translating a text in which "fulfill" is used.

    Re: Order

    Hi,

You asked if there was a more fitting word. Believe me there isn't. Any other word will in my opinion only detract from the sentences.
