    "I'm getting sweet on her."

    Is it OK to say that you start to or favor someone romantically?

    OR

    "I can tell you by the look in her eyes that she's sweet on me."

    Actually, it's said quite commonly in the States by the younger generations.

    "Sweet" is also the new "cool.'

    When a person sees a really cool car, the comment is, "SWEEEEET!
