    Post Monologue

    Hello,

I need some help concerning the way which we have to follow in order to write a Monologue, in other words: Is there any steps that we have to follow for writing a good monologue? Thank you.

    Default Re: Monologue

    Hi,

A monologue is effectively just a reasonably long speech which is addressed directly to an audience. It is often in the form of a story. What it is not is conversational in style.

Why not study some classics. My personal favourites are any by Stanley Holloway, e.g. http://wuff.me.uk/monologues/10.html, or Mike Harding's 'Napoleon's Retreat from Wigan', Napoleon's Retreat From Wigan... Mike Harding
