When you send 5 letters (each having three pages) to someone in PDF, how do you say that in an email:

send you a copy of 5 letters or send you copies of 5 letters?

Thanks.

Each letter is unique, right? None is a copy of the other?

Are the three pages copies of the same page?
Letter A, page 1 is the same as Letter A, page 2, so that 2 is an exact copy of 1? (If so, what's the point of that? They could just print two copies of page 1.)

I am sending you copies of 5 letters (pdf) by email.
The length of each letter does not need to be mentioned.

If you were writing a normal letter you would simply refer to the attached copies of 5 letters.

I was just about to post a similar question.

Is it...I have enclosed copies of my resume, passport, and diploma.

or is it... I have enclosed a copy of my resume, passport, and diploma.

I'm not sure which to use. There is only one copy of each item, but since there are 3 items, I am sending multiple items (copies).

The resume is not a copy, right?

Is it normal to send a copy of your diploma? Or your passort? That would be a very strange thing to include in a cover letter for a job in the US.

My resume and a copy of my diploma and passport are enclosed.

Actually this is very common and required for many positions overseas. But you need to digitally stamp the document as a "copy" and cover-up the passport number.

All the 3 pages in any of 5 letters are different.

Each letter is one complete document (pdf), you do not need to refer to any number of pages.

I was giving pages just to make it easier for you guys to understand me. I of course won't use 3 pages. But no one has directly answered my question:

Should I say "a copy of the letters" or "copies of the letters"?

Thanks.
